The buzz on this show is well deserved as from the very moment the lights came on stage, I couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear.
This show totally makes out like your gay best friend just placed all the cast recordings and Playbills you both own together and tossed them on the floor in a pile and screeched at every minute detail...in song!
I really cannot get over how special this whole show ended up being. Thank god Ghostlight ... read more Records had the sense enough to preserve it on a Cast Recording. I find myself recounting various funny lines the cast of 4 throws out and fondly going back to that small Vineyard Theatre audience.
If you have any semblance of theatre knowledge, I recommend you RUN to see this now! |

| This is a show that should be seen more than once to enjoy all of the references. I've had the CD for several months and it was fun to hear the dialogue between the songs to put the whole show together in my head. |

| This is definitely the most funny show of the last decade! It's a musical about two guys and two of their friends drafting a musical for a theater festival. The show that they are writing is about them writing the show. Sounds confusing, but really isn't. This show is laugh out loud hilarious, and the chemistry between the cast is perfect. | It has been a long time since I wanted to walk out on a show???tho it has an obviously talented cast and was much appreciated by a small portion (younger)of the audience;it left me and two companions dumbstruck as to the reason to bring it back.... I had to show the write-up in magazine to view the reason tickets were purchased...Sorry, just not with it, I guess!!!!!! |
